දැන් 2nd Year, 2nd Semester එකේ ඉගෙන ගන්න ගමන් ඉන්න ඔයාලගේ ඊළඟ ලොකුම අභියෝගය තමයි Final Exam එක ඉවර වුණාට පස්සේ අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම සම්පූර්ණ කළ යුතු මාස 6 ක Internship එහෙමත් නැත්නම් Industrial Training එක.

ඔයා කරන්නේ HNDIT, HNDA, HNDM, HNDBA හෝ වෙනත් ඕනෑම Course එකක් වුණත්, Internship එකක් හොයාගන්න එක වගේම, Institute එක (ATI) එක්ක කරන්න තියෙන රාජකාරි ටික හරියටම දැනගෙන ඉන්න එක ගොඩක් වැදගත්. මේ තියෙන්නේ Exam ඉවර වුණ දවසේ ඉඳන් Training එක ඉවර වෙනකම් ඔයා අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම කරන්න ඕනේ දේවල් පියවරෙන් පියවර.

1. සුපිරි CV එකක් හදාගන්න (Build a Professional CV)

Interview එකකට යන්න කලින් Company එකක් දකින ඔයාගේ මුහුණුවර තමයි CV එක. ඒ නිසා මේකට ලොකු අවධානයක් දෙන්න. ඔයා Academic projects විදිහට කරපු දේවල්, අදාළ Field එකට අදාළව තියෙන Skills අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම CV එකට දාන්න.

2. Internship එකක් හොයාගන්න පටන් ගන්න

• LinkedIn, Topjobs.lk වගේ වෙබ් අඩවි වල දිනපතාම අලුත් Internships පළවෙනවා.

• HNDA නම්: Audit firms, Accounting & Finance අංශ.

• HNDIT නම්: Software companies, IT support අංශ.

• HNDM/BA නම්: Marketing, HR, Business Management අංශ. මේ විදිහට ඔයාගේ Field එකට අදාළව Apply කරන්න.

3. ATI එකෙන් 'Request Letter' එක ලබාගැනීම

ඔයා Interview එකක් Pass වෙලා Company එකකින් ඔයාව Select කරගත්තට පස්සේ, ඔයා අදාළ Company එකට පෙන්නන්න ඕනේ ඔයා SLIATE එකේ ශිෂ්‍යයෙක් සහ මේ Internship එක ඔයාගේ අනිවාර්යය අංගයක් කියලා.

• මේ සඳහා අදාළ ATI එකේ Coordinator ගෙන් හෝ කාර්යාලයෙන් Internship Request Letter එකක් (Recommendation Letter) ඉල්ලගන්න ඕනේ.

• මේ ලියුම අරගෙන ඔයා තේරුණු Company එකේ HR අංශයට භාර දෙන්න.

4. Company එකෙන් 'Acceptance Letter' එකක් ගෙනත් ATI එකට දීම

ඔයා Company එකට ATI එකේ ලියුම දුන්නට පස්සේ, Company එකෙන් ඔයාට දෙනවා Offer Letter එකක් එහෙමත් නැත්නම් Acceptance Letter එකක් (ඔයාව මේ කාල සීමාවට Internship එකට බඳවා ගත්තා කියලා).

• ඔයා අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම මේ Company එකෙන් දෙන ලියුමේ කොපියක් ඔයාගේ ATI එකේ Coordinator ට ගිහින් භාර දෙන්න ඕනේ.

• එතකොට තමයි Institute එකේ Register වෙන්නේ ඔයා අහවල් Company එකේ Training වෙනවා කියලා.

5. Training කාලය සහ 'Logbook' එක (Daily Diary)

Internship එක පටන් ගත්තට පස්සේ ඔයාට ATI එකෙන් Training Logbook එකක් (හෝ Record Book එකක්) දෙනවා.

• මාස 6 පුරාවටම ඔයා Company එකේ කරපු වැඩ මොනවද කියලා මේ පොතේ දිනපතා හෝ සතිපතා සටහන් කරන්න ඕනේ.

• මාසෙ අන්තිමට ඔයාගේ Company එකේ Supervisor (Manager) ලවා මේ පොතේ අත්සන් කරගන්න එක අනිවාර්යයි. (මේක අවසාන විභාගය වගේම වැදගත්!).

6. Internship එක අවසන් වීම සහ Certificate එක

මාස 6 ක පුහුණුව සාර්ථකව ඉවර කළාට පස්සේ, Company එකෙන් ඔයාට Service Letter එකක් (Completion Certificate) දෙනවා ඔයාගේ වැඩ කටයුතු සාර්ථකව නිම කළා කියලා.

7. අවසාන Viva එක (Final Presentation)

මේක තමයි ඔයාගේ HND ගමනේ අවසානම පියවර. Internship එක ඉවර වුණාට පස්සේ ATI එකෙන් දිනයක් දෙනවා Viva එකට.

• එදාට ඔයා සම්පූර්ණ කරපු Logbook එක, Company එකෙන් දුන්න Service Letter එක අරගෙන යන්න ඕනේ.

• ඒ වගේම ඔයා මේ මාස 6 ඇතුළත ඉගෙන ගත්ත දේවල්, කරපු Projects ගැන පොඩි Presentation එකක් කරන්නත් ලෑස්ති වෙලා යන්න.

A/L විභාගය කියන්නේ ජීවිතේ තීරණාත්මක කඩඉමක්. විභාග ප්‍රතිඵල ආවට පස්සේ ගොඩක් දෙනෙක්ට තියෙන ලොකුම ප්‍රශ්නයක් තමයි, "මගේ ප්‍රතිඵල වලට කැම්පස් යන්න බැරි වෙයිද? එහෙම වුනොත් මගේ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන හීනෙට මොකද වෙන්නේ?" කියන එක.

ඇත්තටම රජයේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට (State University) යන්න බැරි වුනා කියන්නේ ඔයාගේ ගමන නතර වුනා කියන එක නෙවෙයි. ලංකාවේ රජය මගින් පවත්වාගෙන යන, උපාධියකට (Degree) සමාන වටිනාකමක් තියෙන හොඳම විකල්පය තමයි HND (Higher National Diploma) කියන්නේ.

අද අපි කතා කරමු මොකක්ද මේ HND කියන්නේ? ඒකේ තියෙන Courses මොනවද? සහ A/L වලින් පස්සේ මේකට සම්බන්ධ වෙන්නේ කොහොමද කියලා.

 1. මොකක්ද මේ SLIATE සහ HND කියන්නේ?

SLIATE (Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education) කියන්නේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජයේ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශය යටතේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වන ප්‍රධානතම ආයතනයක්. මේකෙන් පිරිනමන පාඨමාලා තමයි HND (Higher National Diploma) කියන්නේ.

• සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම නොමිලේ: රජයේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල වගේම මේ පාඨමාලා සඳහාත් ඔයාගෙන් මුදල් අය කරන්නේ නැහැ.
• NVQ Level 6: HND කියන්නේ ජාතික වෘත්තීය සුදුසුකම් (NVQ) මට්ටම් 6 ට සමාන පාඨමාලාවක්. (Degree එකක් කියන්නේ NVQ Level 7).
• ඉහළ පිළිගැනීම: රාජ්‍ය සහ පුද්ගලික අංශයේ රැකියා සඳහා ඉහළම ඉල්ලුමක් තියෙනවා.

 2. ඔයාට තෝරාගන්න පුළුවන් HND පාඨමාලා මොනවද?

ඔයා A/L කරපු විෂය ධාරාව අනුව ගැලපෙන පාඨමාලාව තෝරාගන්න පුළුවන්.

A. Commerce Stream (වාණිජ අංශය)

HNDA (Higher National Diploma in Accountancy):

• B.Com උපාධියට සමාන බවට රජයෙන් පිළිගන්නා වසර 4ක පාඨමාලාවක්. ගණකාධිකරණ ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ඉහළටම යන්න පුළුවන් හොඳම පාරක්.

HNDM (Management):

• ව්‍යාපාර කළමනාකරණය පැත්තට කැමති අයට වසර 3ක පාඨමාලාවක්.

HNDBA (Business Administration):

• ව්‍යාපාර පරිපාලනය සම්බන්ධ වසර 2 1/2ක පාඨමාලාවක්.

B. Maths/Science Stream (ගණිත/විද්‍යා අංශය)

HNDE (Engineering):

• Civil, Mechanical, Electrical කියන ක්ෂේත්‍ර වලින් ඉංජිනේරු ශිල්පියෙක් වෙන්න පුළුවන් වසර 3 1/2ක පාඨමාලාවක්. (Maths කරන අයට විශේෂයි).

HNDQS (Quantity Surveying):

• අද කාලේ ලංකාවෙත් රටත් වැඩිම පඩියක් ගන්න පුළුවන් Job එකක්. Construction Cost Management ගැන උගන්වන්නේ.

C. Technology & IT (තාක්ෂණ අංශය)

HNDIT (Information Technology):

• ඕනෑම Stream එකක කෙනෙක්ට කරන්න පුළුවන්. Software Engineering, Networking පැත්තෙන් ඉස්සරහට යන්න කැමති අයට සුපිරිම පාඨමාලාවක්.

D. Other Streams (වෙනත්)

• HNDE (English): භාෂා අංශයෙන් ඉස්සරහට යන්න කැමති අයට.
• HNDT (Agriculture): කෘෂිකර්මය පැත්තෙන් ඉහළට යන්න.
• HNDTHM (Tourism & Hospitality): සංචාරක හෝ හෝටල් ක්ෂේත්‍රයට.

3. ඇතුළත් වෙන්න අවශ්‍ය සුදුසුකම් මොනවද?

• සාමාන්‍යයෙන් HND පාඨමාලාවක් කරන්න නම් මූලික සුදුසුකම වෙන්නේ G.C.E. A/L විභාගය සමත් වීමයි (S3).
• HNDIT / HNDM / HND English: ඕනෑම විෂය ධාරාවකින් A/L S3 (සමහර විට English/Maths O/L ප්‍රතිඵල බලනවා).
• HNDE / HNDQS: මේවාට නම් A/L Maths හෝ Technology ධාරාවෙන් සමත් වීම අනිවාර්යයි.
• HNDA: Commerce හෝ වෙනත් ධාරාවකින් සමත් වීම.

(සෑම වසරකම නිකුත් වන ගැසට් පත්‍රයේ මේ සුදුසුකම් වෙනස් වෙන්න පුළුවන්).

4. HND එකෙන් පස්සේ Degree එකක් ගන්න පුළුවන්ද?

අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම පුළුවන්! HND කියන්නේ ඔයාගේ ගමනේ නැවතුම නෙවෙයි.

Top-up Degrees: ඔයා HND එක ඉවර කළාම, ඔයාට පුළුවන් රජයේ හෝ පුද්ගලික විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට සම්බන්ධ වෙලා තව අවුරුද්දක් හෝ දෙකක් ඉගෙන ගෙන උපාධිය (Degree) සම්පූර්ණ කරන්න.

උදාහරණයකට: HNDIT කරපු කෙනෙක්ට මාස 12-18ක් ඇතුළත BSc in Software Engineering උපාධිය ගන්න පුළුවන්.

5. අයදුම් කරන්නේ කොහොමද?

සාමාන්‍යයෙන් A/L ප්‍රතිඵල ඇවිත් මාස කිහිපයකින් රජයේ ගැසට් පත්‍රය මගින් අයදුම්පත් කැඳවනවා.
